Why are there suddenly ads on this app that I PAID for?

I dont look for the app to be the be-all and end-all, but I do like the quotes. I think they are inspiring enough and I think they provide something to think about. And thats about all I was looking for

This used to be a favorite app, but, in the last week or so, it has completely stopped working upon opening. Please fix this!

Good content covering a large variety of topics/people. Ads are annoying, but otherwise great app.

I have had this app for a few years and this is the first time the ads have made it impossible to go more than three taps without an ad popping up and exit itself out of the app! Im getting frustrated and am about to delete it.

Use to be really good but it freezes to much and doesnt load up

While this has long since been a fave app of mine, it is acting up and redirects me to the App Store anytime I try to select a category or do a search.
